Karen McKibbin is the Chief Information Officer, Health Services I&IT Cluster. She provides leadership for information management and information technology solutions that enable and support the business requirements of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Long-Term Care and their agents.

Karen has extensive experience in the private and public sectors in business management, and in the delivery of information technology solutions and ongoing IT operations. She has proven experience working horizontally and in collaborating across multiple program areas, ministries, and engaging broader health sector partners to achieve exceptional results. Karen has led the development and implementation of a diverse range of initiatives, including those that bring the province public health and digital health immunization programs, the digital health drug repository, and the provincial case and contact management solution
