We play an important role in fostering open dialogue between industry and government.
TECHNATION plays an important role in bringing together public and private sector entities to expand and focus on gaining insights into the strategies and complexities of both industry and government – all with the goal of making us more viable and competitive.
Each year, TECHNATION, working in conjunction with the Ontario Public Sector Business Committee (PSBC), develops a pre-Budget Submission that provides key recommendations to help secure Canada’s place as a digital global leader, and modernize the province’s programs and services. Whenever possible, TECHNATION presents its recommendations to Ontario’s Standing Committee on Finance once the series of hearings begin. Once the Ontario Government releases its budget, TECHNATION then provides a comprehensive overview to its members, and distributes a national news release.
