As Chief Procurement Officer, Lloyd leverages partner ecosystems to drive short and long-term value for TELUS to enable its continued success and continuous innovation. The goal is to create processes and infrastructure that are cost- effective and competitive, enabling TELUS to constantly meet the evolving needs of its millions of subscriber connections and future growth demands across a broad portfolio of solutions including: mobility and home; healthcare; security; enterprise connectivity and Internet of Things. Lloyd and his team are responsible for procurement and sourcing strategy, supply chain management and operations, and transforming the underlying processes and systems that support them.

A seasoned telecommunications executive, Lloyd has over 30 years of experience across the industry with equipment manufacturers, service providers and strategy consulting companies, including Nortel Networks, Deloitte, Strategos and two technology start-ups.

Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo and resides in Toronto. Lloyd puts his passion for his city, region and country into action and is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Toronto Region Board of Trade and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Council and is co-executive sponsor for TELUS’ LGBTQ resource group in Ontario.

Jeremy Auger

Chief Strategy Officer, D2L Corporation

Jeremy is responsible for formulating and supporting alignment on company-level strategy within D2L (formerly Desire2Learn). Jeremy also provides executive leadership and management of corporate development, mergers & acquisitions, government relations & public affairs, corporate communications, business development, strategic management, and intellectual property strategy.

Jeremy joined the D2L team when the company was founded, and over the last 15+ years has served as the Chief Operating Officer, the Chief Technology Officer, and continues to take a leadership role in driving the organization’s success within its key industries as Chief Strategy Officer. Prior to joining D2L, Jeremy came from a strong technical and business background, worked with numerous companies throughout North America, and has been actively involved in starting and running transformative technology companies for over twenty years.

Jeremy participates in a number of boards and committees, including serving as Chair of the Economic Development Advisory Board for the City of Kitchener (Canada), as an elected board member for the IMS Global Learning Consortium – a global technology standards body, and serves as a board member on a number of other for-profit and not-for-profit corporate and advisory boards. Jeremy has an Honours Bachelor of Math in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, and a Master of Science in Management from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Aneeta Bains

Aneeta is the Managing Partner for the Federal Public Service at IBM Canada.  She has a vast and dynamic set of experiences across Public Sector, Insurance, Telecom and Consulting.  Her leadership expertise is focused on the power of Data and Technology to enable innovative ideas, digital and data policies, agile methods, good governance, solid business cases and growth of talent that achieve strategic results and outcomes.

As the former Assistant Deputy Minister and Chief Digital Officer of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, Aneeta has experience leading digital transformation as a public servant and as a strategic advisor. She was also a Digital Fellow with the Canada School of Public Service which supports the Digital Academy for the Government of Canada. Aneeta also held previous roles as a private sector executive, specifically the Vice President of Digital at Manulife and the Vice President of Technology at Sonnet Insurance.  In these roles she led significant business and technology transformation programs.

Rob Campagna

Rob is responsible for delivering on the strategic direction and growth of Cisco Systems Canada Public Sector segment.   He leads a high performing team to help their customers connect, secure, and automate to accelerate their digital agility in a cloud-first world. Rob and his team focus on sales and thought leadership on secure, agile networks; hybrid work; optimized application experiences; end-to-end security and internet for the future; to enable digital transformation for their customers.

Rob has a proven track record and over 25 years experience in developing and growing high performing Sales teams in the technology industry. He is passionate about innovation, customers, partners and driving an inclusive future for all.

Prior to Cisco, Rob held Sales leadership roles with EDS and Allstream.  He has a Bachelor of Arts, Economics from Carleton University.  Rob sits on the Board of Directors for Creating Alternatives (a day program for adults over the age of 21 with a developmental disability).

Rob enjoys playing golf, soccer and hockey and he resides in Burlington with his daughter and son.

John Cousens

Managing Director of Public Sector, Google Canada

John Cousens is the Managing Director of Public Sector, Canada with Google. John is a Cloud industry veteran with experience in two cloud computing start-ups. He has over 20 years of senior management experience, with previous technology leaders. John has a passion for innovation, customers and hockey; all powered by an entrepreneurial heart. John is a native of the Ottawa valley, John is married to an amazing wife with two children that inspire him daily.

Walter Dann

Area Vice President, Oracle Canada

Walter Dann is the Area Vice President responsible for supporting the Canadian Public Sector and their journey to cloud.

Walter has been involved in Information Technology for over 25 years and has been a subject matter expert on Identity Management and Security and ran a successful security practice for MTS Allstream before joining Oracle. Walter started with Oracle as a security specialist 16 years ago. He then moved on to a Technology Account Manager role and covered the Science Portfolio, ESDC and PSPC and Shared Services Canada for 7 years before becoming the Regional Vice President for Oracle’s Federal and Quebec public sector business in 2016 and has been the Canadian AVP for Government, Education and Healthcare since 2020

Walter is a graduate of Dalhousie University and currently lives in Aylmer Quebec with his wife Amanda who are active members of the community where Walter was on the board of the local Figure Skating Club for 10 years, 8 of them as President.

Nicole Foster

Director, AWS Global AI/ML and Canada Public Policy, Amazon, AWS

Nicole Foster leads the direction and strategy of artificial intelligence public policy globally for Amazon Web Services (AWS) as well as the company’s public policy efforts in support of the AWS business in Canada. In this role, she focuses on issues related to emerging technology, digital modernization, cloud computing, cyber security, data protection and privacy, government procurement, economic development, skilled immigration, workforce development, and renewable energy policy. Prior to joining Amazon in 2018, Nicole led the Toronto office for Global Public Affairs, providing senior public affairs counsel to clients.

Before joining Global in 2004, Nicole worked for a number of years in political roles in Ottawa. Nicole is the past National Chair of Equal Voice, a multi-partisan group dedicated to raising the issue of women’s under-representation in Canadian legislatures.

J. Paul Haynes

J. Paul Haynes serves as President and Chief Operating Officer at Waterloo, Ontario-based eSentire, Inc., the market leader in Managed Detection and Response services for mid-sized enterprises. Based on operationalized threat hunting, eSentire has grown to over 650 customers in 50 countries served by nearly 450 dedicated employees in Canada, the US, Ireland and the UK. eSentire protects over $5 trillion AuM of all global alternative asset management funds, and is expanding aggressively into the legal, extractive, healthcare, technology and medium enterprise markets as well as augmenting enterprise security teams with threat hunting services. In my role I oversee all security operations, product management, research and development and customer care functions.

J. Paul is a subject-matter expert and frequently quoted in industry and national media on the topics of advanced threat management, insider threats, managed security services, competitive market analysis and enterprise risk mitigation. He is most noted for his ability to bridge complex technical issues to the enterprise security risks executives face on a 24X7x365 basis against sophisticated advanced threat adversaries. He is often invited to speak at large prime broker conferences in the alternative asset management market, as well as at executive conferences across a variety of critical infrastructure markets.

Prior to eSentire, he spent two decades starting, financing and selling a number of enterprise software businesses in energy, government, healthcare and engineering sectors.

Paul is a professional engineer and holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Engineering from the University of Guelph.

Sean Hinton

Sean is a recognized thought leader and innovator in labor economics and the Future of Work, having invented Quantum Labor Analysis that marries economic theory with artificial intelligence to produce the most advanced real-time knowledge graph of jobs, skills, training, and labor market intelligence in the world.

Sean is the Co-Chair of the Entrepreneurs Circle of the Canadian American Business Council (CABC) and a member of OECD’s Future of Work Forum Engagement Group. In 2020, Sean was invited by the Government of Canada to join the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) and represent Canada as one of the 15 founding countries. Daniel Lunghi

During Daniel’s career, he has been successful in managing many enterprise level engagements from the contract development and implementation phase through to steady state account management operations for large Canadian governments customers such The Government of Ontario, The Province of British Columbia and numerous publicly funded organizations (Agencies, Healthcare, Municipal and Education).

In addition; Daniel was National Manager of Partnerships & Alliances, critical in the development of alliances with IBM Canada and involved in the development of the global alliance. During Daniel’s technology career, he has been successful in numerous implementations for clients such as: The Province of British Columbia, CIBC, TD Canada Trust, Rogers Communications Inc., TELUS Corporation, Siemens Canada, Province of New Brunswick.

Daniel resides in York Region with his wife and 3 children and is an active member of the community through coaching and volunteer work.

Mark Matheson
