TECHNATION is working with Shared Services Canada (SSC) on a new initiative called ScaleUp, a collaborative approach to increase the diversity of bidders on government contracts from Indigenous businesses, and businesses owned or led by underrepresented groups, including women, visible minorities, and persons with disabilities across Canada.

ScaleUp will use Canada’s Digital Marketplace as the sole source for soliciting these under-represented groups and Indigenous businesses on government procurements up to $238,000 for IT-related goods, services and solutions through a fast, simple and open process that puts contracts in place in under 2 weeks.

Pilots under the initiative will begin in September 2021. Updates will be provided via Canada’s Digital Marketplace.
