About the Event

Cybersecurity has never been more important, especially for small and medium-sized businesses. As rapid technology adoption continues across our economy, Canadian SMBs are coming under constant attack, and serious breaches can be devastating.

To support Canada’s vibrant SMB community, Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst is launching “Simply Secure” – free online resources specifically designed for SMBs and delivered in an easy-to-use format that small business leaders can absorb on their own schedule at their own pace.

We are proud to be joined for opening remarks by:

  • Hon. Prabmeet Singh Sarkaria, Ontario’s Minister of Small Business and Red Tape Reduction
  • His Worship Patrick Brown, the Mayor of Brampton
  • Dr. Mohamed Lachemi, President and Vice-Chancellor, Ryerson University

Following the opening remarks, you are invited to enjoy a panel discussion on “Cybersecurity for SMBs in the COVID-19 Recovery” with panelists including:

  • Michael Cascone – Director, Scale-Up Institute Toronto, Toronto Region Board of Trade
  • Jasmin Guénette, Vice-President of National Affairs, Canadian Federation of Independent Business

We look forward to sharing this exciting new program with you.

Thank you!
