Health IT/IM/TECH Solution & Service Provider’s Ontario MOH Dialogue on Data Consultation
Following TECHNATION’s webinar, the Ontario Ministry of Health’s Dialogue on Data public policy consultation held on June 17th, TECHNATION members are now invited to attend a consultation specific for the Canadian Heath IT/IM/TECH solution and services providers.
The consultation will focus on the proposed five pillars of the future-state Ontario data ecosystem: digital identity, digital rights, access to data, trusted information, data and digital platform. Those that register will be asked to provide comments and questions prior to the meeting on the above as well as the proposed Patient Oriented Architecture (The Data and Digital Platform for healthcare innovation) and the Ontario Datasphere (Ontario Data and Digital Platform, Ontario Data Authority as a service and service pathways). This will ensure a more valued and focused discussion.
The consultation will be led by Christine Sham, Director, Information Management Strategy and Policy at Ontario’s Ministry of Health and her team. In her current role as Director, Information Management Strategy and Policy at the Ministry, she champions the development and implementation of provincial health data and digital strategies that will catalyze health system transformation and digital health innovation.
