On October 2, TECHNATION President and CEO Angela Mondou and EVP Government Relations and Strategy Prateek Sureka hosted a dinner and discussion under Chatham House Rule with government cyber and defence leaders, industry executives and subject matter experts.
The discussion centered on issues within the Canadian cybersecurity space, effective solutions to improve our nation’s cyber resilience, protect our national security and economy, deter cyber threat actors, and promote norms-based international behaviour in cyberspace.
Government stakeholders included Parliamentary Secretary Jennifer O’Connell, Public Safety, Democratic Institutions and Intergovernmental Affairs (Cybersecurity) and senior leaders from Shared Services Canada, Communication Security Establishment, Canadian Centre for Cyber Security, Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, Privy Council Office and Canadian Security Intelligence Service.

TECHNATION’s Cybersecurity Taskforce (CTF) is a collaborative multi-sector council created to identify and support critical challenges in Canada’s cybersecurity fabric, including talent, cybersecurity readiness and emerging areas of threat such as quantum, IOT, 5G, AI and GenAI.
