2026 TECH7 Joint Declaration

TECHNATION is proud to join the leading trade associations in the digital sector from the G7 countries (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States) and the European Union at the 2026 TECH7 in Paris to present joint recommendations to G7 Digital Ministers.

Taking place under the French G7 presidency, this year’s TECH7 comes at a pivotal moment, as digital technologies — including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and quantum technologies — play an increasingly decisive role in shaping growth, competitiveness, and innovation across G7 economies.

In Paris, the TECH7 members adopted a joint declaration, calling for strengthened cooperation among major digital economies, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing open, interoperable, secure, and innovation-driven digital ecosystems. The recommendations address nine major strategic issues:

  1. International collaboration, trust, and resilience

  3. Trusted cross-border data flows
  4. AI deployment in strategic sectors
  5. Quantum technologies and opportunities
