TECHNATION Congratulates Member Graduates of New Executive Program Focused on Board Governance

Recently, the Council of Canadian Innovators (CCI) created the Innovation Governance Program (iGP), a new executive education program that trains current and future board members in key areas of board governance for Canadian technology companies. TECHNATION is a proud partner of this Program.

The most recent cohort of this new program just graduated and 10 of our members participated including:

  • Dora Jonah, CGI;
  • Lis Arnett; CGI;
  • Jeremy Auger, D2L;
  • Emilee Irwin, D2L;
  • Mary Ann Yule, HP;
  • Lars Goransson, IDC;
  • Martin Joyce, KPMG;
  • Anna Leon, KPMG;
  • Suzanne Gagliese, Microsoft; and
  • Brianna Ramsay, Slalom.

We offer our congratulations to these successful graduates!

The iGP was designed to equip executive leaders with the skills and resources they require to help Canada’s fastest-growing companies scale-up globally as board members.

Successful participants in iGP will be added to CCI’s Board Member Advisory Program (BMAP), a specialized referral program that helps Canadian innovation companies identify prospective candidates for board roles

CCI has also established the link between iGP and BMAP to create new pathways for women, members of visible minorities, Canadian Aboriginal persons and persons with disabilities to join corporate boards in Canada. This important initiative was designed to make our Canadian boards more tech-savvy and more diverse!
