Advanced Digital and Professional Training (ADaPT) Program

The Advanced Digital and Professional Training (ADaPT) Program is a cost-free ‘train and place’ initiative providing professional skills development with work placement opportunities to help bridge the ‘employment gap’ for recent graduates.

The program equips participants with a post-secondary credentials, including students in their final semester, with 70+ hours of in-demand skills for entry-level tech roles while supporting a diverse group of talent from varied educational backgrounds.

With approximately 4 of 5 participants belonging to at least one equity-deserving group, ADaPT supports Canadian Tech by providing well-trained talent with diverse global perspectives.

Employers who participate in the ADaPT hiring program gain access to top talent from diverse professional and academic backgrounds along with access to recruitment services. There is no cost to hire an ADaPT program graduate and we will match qualified talent to your entry-level opportunities to help facilitate placements free of charge.

To date, 81% of ADaPT participants identify as belonging to at least one equity-deserving group, including: women, LGBTQ2S+, racialized persons, person living with a disability, recent immigrants to Canada and Indigenous peoples.
ADaPT has engaged with over 400 employers matching them with skilled talent, to meet their hiring needs and  bridge the employment skills gap between post-secondary education and the tech workforce.
