Speakers

Ann Chapman is the Director of Health Spending and Primary Care at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI).  In her role, Ann is responsible for leading strategy development for CIHI’s health spending and primary care data within the Data Strategies and Statistics division, including a core focus on advancing digital health and data interoperability efforts in Canada. She has over 20 years of progressive leadership experience at CIHI driving innovation and spearheading the development of strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing data interoperability across the healthcare ecosystem. Ann holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of Ottawa.

Attila Farkas is the Senior Director, Interoperability Product Portfolio, Digital Health Interoperability Program at Canada Health Infoway.  Serving as the Interoperability Product Portfolio Lead at Canada Health Infoway, Attila is responsible for the definition, development and execution of the interoperability components represented in the Shared pan-Canadian Interoperability Roadmap. Tapping into decades of HIT product development experience in the private sector and some twelve years in the public sector, Attila is focused on evolving the state of Digital Health in Canada through programs that seek out and maintain alignment with international standards.
