TECHNATION works with CIO leaders across the broader public sector in Ontario to bring together forward-thinking BPS leaders to discuss critical issues, including their COVID recovery and opportunities as they continue to build government services.
This curated dialogue will bring government and industry together to learn how the technology community can provide business value, identify specific opportunities for co-creation and to cultivate a more effective partnership-based approach as they continue working to deliver effective citizen-centred service delivery.

Enza Alexander is a seasoned IT industry leader with over 25 years of experience across the technology sector in finance, operations, sales, marketing, and professional services. She serves as the Executive Vice President at ISA. As an accomplished sales leader, team builder, and channel expert, Enza is passionate about helping clients better understand the positive impact and possibilities that business technology solutions can deliver. She has a long and successful track record built on driving client solutions that are value-based. In 2011, Enza was recognized as one of Canada’s leading Women in Technology by IT Canada and CDN Magazine.
Speaker Bios
Kalyan Chakravarthy (KC) is Chief Information Officer for the Regional Municipality of Durham. In this position he is responsible for establishing and implementing a long-term technology strategy for the Region. KC has over 20 years of experience in private, public and not-for-profit sectors. He worked with GE, IBM, Toronto International Film Festival & AGCO before joining the region of Durham. He graduated his MBA from Smith School of Business and did a certificate course on Artificial Intelligence from MIT. Currently he also teaches Data Analytics and AI courses at Durham College.
Catherine Paisley is the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at the Ontario Science Centre. Catherine is responsible for identifying and executing new opportunities, business models and partnerships that advance the organization’s strategic goals, and leadership on corporate-wide projects. A member of the Centre’s executive, in addition to oversight of the business development and science teams, her portfolio includes newly formed departments responsible for research & evaluation, and digital transformation. Her position requires a strong understanding of the unique challenges of managing a not-for-profit where a balance must be found between achieving business goals, meeting the needs of diverse stakeholders, and staying true to the mission. Catherine has held senior leadership roles on the board of the Canadian Association of Science Centres, including a two-year term as President. Catherine sits on the Board of Governors of Ryerson University, where she is the Chair of the Audit Committee. At Ryerson, she is also on the Faculty of Science Dean’s Advisory Committee and contributes to work of the Alumni Association. Catherine is also involved with the International Association of Science and Technology Centres, located in Washington DC, where she sits on the Social Justice & Racial Equity Task Force and held the previous role of Editorial Advisor for its publication, Dimensions. Originally from a small town in southern Ontario, Catherine moved to Toronto in the late 80s and completed an undergraduate degree at Ryerson University followed by a graduate degree at the University of Toronto. She lives in Toronto with her partner, her two children and her spoiled dog.
Adam Huston is the Director of Guest Experience at your Toronto Zoo. He began his Zoo career as a summer student in 1995 as a Zoomobile driver and over the years has held numerous positions. As Director of Guest Experience, he is responsible for overseeing Guest Relations, Retail & Membership Sales, Guest Operations, Food Services and he continually strives to create amazing guest experiences. He has seen the Zoo move through some innovative options over the years and is excited for what lays ahead particularly with the recent approved Master Plan and the Zoo’s commitment to be the most technologically advanced Zoo in the world over the next 10 years.
