Students participating in work placements (currently or have intentions to in the future) may partake in Student Ready. Regardless of one’s level of tech-expertise, courses are developed to support students from all disciplines of study and in all types of job placements. Completion of the ADaPT program will provide students with the in-demand skills to be successful in their current or future student work placement.
We heard from employers that students must possess key digital skills (effective communication, problem solving, critical thinking, project management, marketing, budgeting, etc.) to be successful in their work placements. Employers have limited time and resources, so the Student Ready Program focuses on the student’s digital skills, so employers can focus on workplace specific skills and growing their future workforce.
Employers can provide the Program to their student work placements. Whether part of the onboarding process, or built into the mentorship and skills development process, Student Ready LaunchPad delivers the digital literacy skills development for your student. The program is a straightforward and effective way for employers to build their future workforce.
LaunchPad provides training in digital literacy, project management, communication, business financials, career skills, and many other competencies to support students complete successful student work placements.
