TECHNATION is pleased to host an information session on the second pan-Canadian Projectathon to be held on November 10th. This Projectathon will take place in March 2023.

Building on a successful first pan-Canadian Projectathon held in March 2022, Infoway in collaboration with provinces and territories invites vendors to participate in the next Projectathon. This event will once again bring together public and private sector implementers to demonstrate live interoperability of solutions in conformance with pan-Canadian specifications.

All jurisdictions have contributed to the design and review of the pan-Canadian patient summary specification, with Ontario and Alberta leading implementation efforts starting in 2023. As a result of this close collaboration, the national and provincial patient summary implementation guides are harmonized and ready for trial implementation. Other jurisdictions will leverage the learnings from Ontario’s and Alberta’s early implementation efforts.

This session will provide an overview of the March 2023 Projectathon:

  • Objectives and benefits
  • What to expect? Overview of the scope, approach and how Infoway will support vendors to prepare and to participate.
  • How to get involved? Registration and pre-event activities.
  • Questions and answers period.
