About this event

Canada is short on skilled talent, while skilled refugees are looking to leverage their skills and move internationally to secure their futures. The Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot (EMPP), a program of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, allows organizations to hire top talent from forcibly displaced populations and provide individuals with an opportunity to contribute to and build a new life in Canada.

Talent Beyond Boundaries (TBB) and Jumpstart Refugee Talent, presented by TECHNATION Canada, will share how Canadian employers can hire from the 40,000+ skilled refugees in TBB’s Talent Catalog. As well, they will speak to how employers can leverage existing EMPP resources to make the hiring process seamless.

Speakers:

The need for skilled tech talent in Canada is real, and this partnership with TBB is another important way we can make a difference, helping both employers, and job seekers.”
