Deanna is a passionate public servant, bringing more than 29 years of experience in municipal government with a focus on digital, technology and customer experience leadership.
In her current role as the General Manager, Digital, Data, Technology & Customer Experience at the Region of York, Deanna is responsible for leading and inspiring a multidisciplinary team to drive, manage, and realize York Region’s digital and customer transformation strategy. Aligned with the Region’s vision and centered on user needs, the new Digital and Customer Experience branch within Corporate Services oversees digital and cyber governance while driving innovation and delivering on exceptional customer experience initiatives.
In her previous role as Deputy Chief Technology Officer at the City of Toronto, Deanna provided senior leadership for the City’s Infrastructure and Enterprise systems team, leading several of the City’s critical transformation initiatives. These included the Employee Customer Experience Transformation, the Financial Systems Transformation Project, and the Data Centre Modernization Project.
