“It will take a ‘sustained campaign of awareness’ to get Canadian organizations to pay more attention to basic cyber hygiene” – Sami Khoury (IT World Canada)
Sami Khoury became Head of the Cyber Centre in 2021 and also assumed the role of deputy chief of the Communications Security Establishment (CSE), the country’s electronic spy agency.
The Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (Cyber Centre) is the single unified source of expert advice, guidance, services and support on cyber security for government, critical infrastructure owners and operations, the private sector and the Canadian public. The Cyber Centre leads the government’s response to cyber security events and works to protect and defend the country’s valuable cyber assets. The centre also helps to develop Canada’s cyber security talent.
