Post-secondary students are invited to attend Code & Conquer, presented by Code Ninjas, Bow Valley College, and TECHNATION’s Career Ready Program.

Not a coder or computer science whiz? Not a problem – no previous coding experience is required!

Here’s what you can expect in this jam-packed afternoon:

• CS Students Panel Discussion: Code Ninjas instructors will share insights on how teaching coding enhances technical communication and mentorship skills.
• Hands-On Game-Building Workshop: Guided by instructors, students will work in small groups to build a simple game, practicing creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. The session will use MakeCode (block coding), a beginner-friendly platform ideal for foundational coding.
• “From Student to Instructor” Challenge: Participants will take on teaching roles, reinforcing understanding through peer instruction and honing adaptability.
