TECHNATION Recommendations for Pre-Budget Consultations in Advance of the Federal Budget – Fall 2025

TECHNATION was pleased to submit recommendations to the Standing Committee on Finance for the Pre-Budget Consultations in Advance of the Upcoming Federal Budget 2025. As Canada’s leading technology association, TECHNATION’s recommendation focused on fives areas affecting our members the most:

1. Invest in scalable work-integrated learning and tech apprenticeships
2. Sustain funding for digital health agencies
3. Accelerate responsible AI adoption and commercialization pathways
4. Modernize public sector procurement
5. Prioritize infrastructure to close the digital divide in rural and Indigenous communities
