Participation in the Health Advocacy Committee is limited to TECHNATION members.
TECHNATION’s Health Advocacy Committee develops research and position papers that support industry partners and amplifies Canada’s health tech voice with government and sector leaders.
The committee’s mandate is to promote investment in health ICT and represent the interests of the Canadian health ICT industry to government, key decision makers and thought leaders. Procurement issues are often front and centre in committee work, and current priorities include data governance and AI in healthcare, and advocacy on Buy Canadian/local procurement mandates.
Meeting virtually on the third Tuesday of every month, and committee members help influence public policy, build strategic relationships, and drive change to shape the future of health innovation in Canada.
