2026 Pan-Canadian Projectathon

Canada Health Infoway is set to host the 2026 Pan-Canadian Projectathon virtually from February 24-26. This national interoperability testing event brings vendors and jurisdictions together to collaborate and test their systems against national and jurisdictional specifications within sandbox environments that simulate real-world workflows, data exchange, and clinical use cases.

The Projectathon provides a unique, collaborative space for participants to test system-to-system connectivity, resolve integration issues in real-time, and demonstrate alignment with shared specifications. This structured testing approach reduces the time and effort required for system fixes and helps accelerate vendor adoption of interoperability standards. Additionally, participants gain early insights into deployment readiness, improve integration with partners, and contribute to advancing national interoperability standards.
