Minister of Health to open ANHIX Spring Symposium & AGM

We thought that many of you would be interested in attending this Alberta Network for Health Information eXchange (ANHIX) Spring event being held face to face, with a virtual option, in Edmonton on June 1st.    

The Alberta Network for Health Information eXchange (ANHIX) Society’s Annual Spring Symposium & AGM will be held on June 1, 2022 in Edmonton.  This year’s Symposium will take place in-person at the Holiday Inn Conference Center, Edmonton South with optional virtual attendance. The theme for the event is “Sustainability and New Approaches to Alberta Healthcare”.

Opening remarks will be given by the Honourable Jason Copping, Minister of Health. Morning speakers will include Andy Ridge, Assistant Deputy Minister, Health Standards, Quality and Performance Division, Alberta Health, Margaret Wing, Chief Executive Officer, Alberta Pharmacists’ Association and Ling Huang, President and CEO, Technology North Corp. The Society’s AGM will be held immediately after lunch and will be followed by speakers from the Health Quality Council of Alberta and Imagine Citizens Network.

Breakfast and lunch will be served together with a wine and cheese reception at the end of the day. Coffee and soft drinks will be served during networking breaks.
