At TECHNATION, we are committed to making the procurement process more transparent, simple, and easier to participate in, especially for our small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Canada.
Domestic and foreign government procurement markets are worth hundreds of billions of dollars annually and offer significant potential opportunities for Canadian companies, large and small. We strive to ensure Canadian governments are leaders using tech to deliver services to their citizens and work to make it easier for our industry to sell to government. Part of how we do this is through the work of our committees.
TECHNATION works with government to modernize their IT procurement processes – and to better engage the tech community earlier in the procurement process. This includes hosting and facilitating meetings and events with both political and senior official levels of government.
