Building for Tomorrow’s Patient: Reimagining Canada’s Health Infrastructure

On April 27th, Edelman is hosting a panel of experts to share their insights and revelations on health infrastructure that we can sunset, what we can place on the back burner, and what needs to be strengthened. We would be honored if you and your colleagues could join us for this important discussion.

As we slowly move from pandemic to endemic, it is critical that businesses, health systems, and governments prepare for future pandemics to ensure strategic and critical investments are secured before we reach a future state of crisis. From testing and distribution programs, data and surveillance programs, and pandemic preparedness legislation to workforce plans, laboratory modernization, and communication strategies and partnerships, we need to evaluate past infrastructure to ensure a strong, coordinated future response that minimizes social and economic disruption.

This event will be moderated by Canadian Television Journalist and CTV Ottawa 6 O’clock News Anchor Graham Richardson and feature guests:

  • Dr. Lisa Barrett, infectious disease physician and researcher
  • Heather Jeffrey, President of the Public Health Agency of Canada,
  • Christine Elliot, former Ontario Minister of Health and Deputy Premier for the Government of Ontario, Counsel with the Fasken Health Law
  • Andrew Gibbons, Vice President, Government Relations and Regulatory Affairs, WestJet
  • Jimmy Yang, Managing Director at Accenture Health

The event will take place at the National Arts Centre in the O’Born Room. RSVPs can be made to Ashley Brambles at ashley.brambles@edelmanega.com
